"Again, not all of us can be literal elven gods." Of course Strange's understanding was laughable compared to Solas because, again, literal elven god. As much as he hates to admit it, he's only human. Of coruse his knowledge pales in some areas. But that doesn't change the fact that he's damn proud of what he knows, how he can implement it, and what he can summon to begin with.
