He makes a small sound of acknowledgment. Perhaps if Strange drove himself to death by exhaustion Solas would be free of the spell that bound him. He had a feeling it wouldn't be as simple as killing the man through his own hand, but death by other means might be enough. It was enough of a possibility that he would let Strange's failure to impress him pass.
